Student Program |
|||||||
OverviewThroughout the three-day program, incoming students will have the opportunity to meet other freshmen students, interact with Auburn's faculty and staff, tour the campus and learn its history, discover the services offered by University organizations and offices as well as local businesses, and get an overall view of life at Auburn. Students will be lead through their orientation by a Camp Counselor. The Camp War Eagle Counselors are an elite group of undergraduate students who are chosen through an interview and selection process in early January. These students then undergo an extensive training program throughout Spring Semester and the weeks leading up to the first camp session. Each counselor is assigned to a group of ten to twelve students during each camp session and acts as the students' guide through the orientation program. Camp Counselors often assist students well beyond the end of Camp War Eagle by becoming upperclassman mentors to the freshmen students. Meet the 2008 Camp War Eagle Counselors! |
