Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs at Auburn University. My desire for you is that you would thoroughly enjoy your time at Auburn. I hope you find a major that you are passionate about. I hope you are challenged inside and outside the classroom. I hope you are stretched beyond belief and learn from it. Your college-years are among the most memorable years of your life. You will make new friends, lose some old friends, and experience ultimate highs and depressing lows. In the end you will be a better person for it.
Auburn students are among the best in the country. The entering class of 2008 had the highest ACT scores (25.9) in the history of the University. Freshmen entering in 2008 hail from Alabama (57%), Georgia (16.4%), Florida (7.1%), Tennessee (3.5%), Texas (3.3%), and other (12.4%). Students are sure to enjoy their time at Auburn; more than 95% of graduates surveyed indicate they would choose Auburn again if they had to do their undergraduate education over.
