What is LeaderShape?

LeaderShape is an intensive, energizing, and unique 6 day leadership development building experience that focuses on building leadership skills and promoting self-discovery.

Utilizing highly interactive program methods rather than classroom lectures, everyone is a teacher and everyone is a learner! The majority of work is done in a large group called The Learning Community. From this group, smaller groups, called Family Clusters are formed where participants work closely together and quickly form meaningful friendships providing a supportive, safe environment.

Another unique feature is the Team Challenge Course which is a half day outdoor team-building experience that teaches the concepts of trust, communication, and group problem solving.

Who goes to LeaderShape?

Each session of The LeaderShape Institute is comprised of approximately 60 men and women ages 17-25 from various organizations from diverse ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.

Why should I attend?

Since 1986, more than 18,000 participants from over 500 colleges, universities, corporations, and other organizations across America have been part of The LeaderShape Institute.

After completing the experience, participants and sponsoring organizations notice numerous changes in themselves and their interactions with others. And it’s no wonder- The LeaderShape Institute does something no other experience can. It prepares young people to change their worlds by providing the tools needed to achieve new insights, improve relationships, build more effective teams, and ultimately enhance society.
