Auburn University is committed to creating a campus-wide culture that promotes healthy lifestyles, and in fall 2013, the new $72 million Recreation and Wellness Center will open. The LEED-certified center will offer 240,000 square feet of recreational amenities and will more than double the current recreation space.
Primarily, student activity fees help offset the costs of construction; however, the need for additional support is essential to the overall operations of the center. This programmatic support will not only ensure Auburn students a state-of-the-art facility, but also provide them with an opportunity to develop a healthy lifestyle and make a commitment to their overall health and wellness.
The Recreation and Wellness Center offers an additional opportunity to show your support within the facility. The designation of a room or area inside the new building is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a donor or commemorate a person or entity of your choosing.
