Bonnie Barraza serves as the Receptionist/Gate keeper in the offices of Student Development Programs and Greek Life. She has been working at Auburn University since April 2004, and enjoys the positive and inspiring atmosphere the students contribute to the office.

Bonnie has deep roots in Auburn. She is related to William (Billy) Spratling, a well known silversmith, AU graduate and designer of the Alabama Polytechnic Institute/Auburn University Seal. Also, Bonnie's grandmother, Margaret Spratling Erskine, was a housemother for Beta Theta Pi for thirteen years.

After visiting Auburn since childhood, Bonnie, her husband Michael and their three children moved here from Nashville, Tennessee in 1997.

In her free time Bonnie enjoys spending time with family and her numerous pets, horseback riding, gardening, travel, cooking, attending car shows and Auburn University athletic events!   >>Top

Charus Campbell serves as Admissions Advisor/Coordinator Recruitment and Retention Services for the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Charus serves as a liaison to the Undergraduate Recruiting staff, the Student Success Center, Student Athlete Support Services, Alumni Affairs and the Office of the Dean of Students to which he also is an advisor to the Black Student Union. He earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Environmental Design (Industrial Design) from Auburn University's College of Architecture Design and Construction. >>Top

Virginia Dawson is originally from Montgomery, AL. She graduated from Auburn University in May 2008 with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's of Education in Community Agency Counseling. She expects to graduate in May 2010. Virginia enjoys all things Auburn, especially football, going home to see her family, and spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and her dog, Hank. >>Top


Melissa Dempsey is originally from Stone Mountain, GA. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Religion from LaGrange College in May 2008. She is currently in the Master’s program for Higher Education Administration. She expects to graduate in May 2010. Melissa’s family lives in Georgia where her mother is a Methodist pastor, her father works for the State Environmental Protection Division, and her sister is in medical school. She enjoys spending time with friends, shopping and singing. >>Top

Corey Edwards is a native of Alpharetta, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance with a minor in Spanish from Auburn in 2006. Corey has one older sister who is a M.D. in Gastroenterology in Augusta, GA, while his parents still reside in Alpharetta, GA. In his spare time, Corey enjoys watching and playing sports, working out, and being around friends and family. Corey expects to complete his masters degree in the next year or two.>>Top

Collins Henderson is originally from Hoover, Alabama. She attended Auburn University and recieved her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology in 2007. She is currently working towards a masters in Higher Education Administration and expects to graduate in May 2010. She loves Auburn football and spends her free time painting and spending time with friends and family.>>Top

Tim King attended Jacksonville State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art with a minor in English in 2005. In 2007, he completed his graduate program, receiving a Master of Science Degree in Education with a concentration in Community Agency Counseling. In his spare time he enjoys photography, singing, music, working out, and spending time with family and friends especially his nieces, Ella and Audrey. Tim is a native of Jacksonville, Alabama and joined the Student Development Programs staff in December of 2007.>>Top

Lisa Lee  has a B.A. in German degree from Auburn University. In her spare time, she enjoyes tennis, running, shopping, playing keyboard and guitar.>>Top

 James (Jamie) Mantooth is originally from Adams, Tennessee, home of the Bell Witch (ask him, he will tell you about her). He is the oldest of four children and was raised on a tobacco farm. He has a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Tennessee at Martin and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. His wife, Katie, works in the AU Career Development Services Office. They have two beautiful daughters, Porter (who shares the same birthday) and Betsy, and one son, Jack. 

Things that make Jamie smile: watching his girls laugh and play together, random Will Ferrell quotes, opening day of baseball season (because it signals the start of Spring), when someone helps someone else and they don't know anyone is watching, and when college students suddenly have those "aha moments" and understand why.>>Top

Landon McKean is originally from Montgomery, and her parents are both Auburn graduates. She completed a B.S. from Auburn University in May of 2007 in Elementary Education and is currently in the Masters program for Higher Education Administration. She expects to graduate in May 2009. Landon enjoys spending time with her family and watching her brother Rory, a pitcher for Old Miss, play baseball.>>Top

 Lamyeia Minor is an Army brat who was born in Beaumont, Texas. She completed her B.S. Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in psychology from Auburn University in 2007, and is in the process of earning a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration. In her spare time she enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with friends and family.>>Top

Michelle Murphy is a native of Southern California. She received her undergraduate degree in Government and Politics with a minor in Comparative and International Politics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Michelle continued her studies at Cal State Long Beach and then earned a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University.

Michelle Murphy joined the Auburn Family in 2004 as a program advisor for the Student Government Association (SGA). Michelle currently works with the University Program Council (UPC). In this role, she assists students in planning and executing many AU activities and events. In addition, Michelle advises Welcome Week, the Emerging Leader Institute (ELI), and the Miss Auburn University Scholarship Program. She enjoys advising Auburn students and assisting them in their development as leaders.>>Top

Nejla Orgen is the advisor for the International Student Organization (ISO) and  Black Student Union (BSU). She works with the executive board to establish leadership qualities in the officers and also monitors their budget. Her office is always open for any of the members to talk and chat.

Auburn Asian Association (AAA)and Auburn Latino Association of Students (ALAS)are not a part of Student Activity Projects (SAP) although they have their programming under the Dean of Students. As their advisor she also oversees their budget and programming. She works with the executive board of these two organizations to establish leadership qualities and responsibility which will enable them to become an SAP group.

Regina Peters joined the Auburn University family in 2001. She is from Sylacauga, AL and resides on Lake Martin with spouse Jim Peters and two beautiful children Roy (Dachshund) and Lucy (White Lab).She serves on the University Staff Council, EMA of Lee County Emergency Response Team and helps with Rotary Club activities.Regina and her husband love taking a cruise each year and they recommend it highly. When not cruising they spend a lot of time doing things for their mothers. >>Top

Gloria Stroud is a native of Auburn, Alabama. She has been employed at Auburn University for 23 years and has been with the Student Government Association for the last 12 years. "Ms. G", as all students call her, is well respected and loved by all students that she has worked with over the years. In her spare time, Gloria thoroughly enjoys taking care of her granddaughters LaDazah and Leah and reading books. Gloria and her husband, Randolph, reside in Auburn.>>Top

Mary Tinkler serves as a Graduate Assistant in the International Student Life Office. Mary completed her undergraduate work at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a major in Art History. After graduation, she worked at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design in Washington, DC for five years before moving to Alabama to pursue a Masters of Business Administration at Auburn. Mary is originally from Charleston, SC and in her spare time loves to travel, read, visit art museums and spend time with her fiancé, John and their dog, Cornbread. >>Top

Leah Whitten was born and raised in Florence, Alabama. She graduated from The University of North Alabama with a degree in Entertainment Industry Management in 2002. After a brief career in the music industry in Nashville, TN she went on to receive her MAEd in business education in 2005. Leah has spent the last three years teaching middle school technology and coaching the girl’s basketball team. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Psychology. In her spare time Leah loves to ride her bike, travel, and spend time with family. >>Top
