Scholarship Consideration

Incoming freshmen accepted for admission must apply through AUSOM by
December 1 to receive consideration for Freshman Scholarships and priority consideration for General Scholarships. Effective February 1, the Freshman Scholarship deadline has been extended to February 9 due to the winter storm. Incoming freshmen who now do not apply through AUSOM by February 9 must do so by March 1 to receive consideration for General Scholarships and Departmental Scholarships.

Incoming transfer students and current Auburn students must apply through AUSOM by March 1 to receive consideration for General Scholarships and Departmental Scholarships. Transfer students and current Auburn students in Nursing, Pharmacy, or Veterinary Medicine must apply through AUSOM by June 1 to receive consideration for Departmental Scholarships.

To receive consideration for need-based scholarships, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online beginning January 1. The FAFSA should be received by Auburn University by the financial aid priority deadline of March 1.

Students are only required to complete the AUSOM application once each academic year. Please review "Getting Started" for additional information.

Required Fields
