Overview

On behalf of the Auburn family, I would like to welcome you and your family to Auburn University. We deeply appreciate the great responsibility that you have entrusted to us. The Division of Student Affairs strives to make your child’s college years a meaningful experience for all involved.

Sending a child  to college is an exciting time but a time of transition for all involved. We hope that we can help make this transition easier for both you and your student. Our Web site will help you find some of the services we have available.

A good way for students to transition to college life is to get involved on campus. Students who find an organization or group to belong to tend to acclimate more quickly. We have more than 300 organizations on Auburn’s campus, and sororities and fraternities offer an opportunity for lifelong friendships and community service. So please encourage your student to get involved.

We have a way for you to stay involved as well. The Parents’ Association gives you a way to stay in the loop with what’s happening on the Auburn campus and offers special on-campus activities just for parents. I hope consider joining this supportive Association.

I look forward to meeting you and your family. Please let me know if my office may be of service to you.

Ainsley Carry, Ed.D.
