IMPACT Projects Have Begun!

IMPACT Volunteer projects began January 19. IMPACT is Auburn's central resource for community service. We provide community service opportunities to all Auburn students.  Volunteering with IMPACT is easy - all you have to do is show up at the intramural fields at one of our project times, bring a printed and signed waiver, and one of our Project Coordinators will meet you there and go with you to the project.  In addition to two hours of community service credit, IMPACT volunteers receive five spirit points.  The schedule is available online at: http://www.auburn.edu/impact/ . Volunteers must sign a waiver in order to volunteer with IMPACT (if under 19, a parent or guardian must also sign waiver). Waivers are also available online and can simply be turned in to the Project Coordinator at the intramural fields.  Please encourage the students you work with to volunteer and make a difference in our community!

Organizations Days

O-Days are set for January 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event will be held on the 2nd floor of the Student Center. O-Days gives students an opportunity to visit tables of participating organizations to learn more about the group and how they can possibly get involved. Different organizations will be set up each day. The theme for this semester's event is "Rockin and Rollin with Organizations." Encourage any students you work with to stop by the Student Center on both days to see how they can get involved.
