Involvement Ambassadors

The Involvement Ambassadors serve as a resource for any student or student organization seeking assistance in finding opportunities for involvement. The Involvement Ambassadors provide one-on-one consultations with students as well as workshops for larger groups. To schedule a consultation or workshop e-mail involve@auburn.edu.

Application

Students interested in serving as a 2014-2015 Involvement Ambassador may now apply. Application information may be found here. Applications are due online by March 19 at 12:00 PM.

Resources

The Involvement Ambassadors are responsible for providing a variety of resources for both individual students and student organizations.

Individual Resources: Students interested in involvement opportunities may utilize the services offered by Involvement Ambassadors. Involvement Ambassadors will provide individual involvement consultations, interview tips and workshops, and mentorship to any student looking to enhance their involvement experience.

Organization Resources: Involvement Ambassadors will provide resources and support to all student organizations. It serves to connect organizations to students and each other. Additionally, Involvement Ambassadors are available to help equip officers with the necessary resources to run effective organizations through workshops & trainings.

New Organizations: Involvement Ambassadors will serve as a resource for all new student organizations as they begin their journey as a newly formed group. New organizations will attend workshops & trainings specifically designed for new leaders that focus on topics that new organizations face.

Programs

Organizations Days: The Involvement Ambassadors plan and organize weekly Organization Days (O-Days) that allow student organizations to promote their events and activities. O-Days take place weekly on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Learn more here.

Promotions: A key element of the Involvement Ambassadors is the promotion of involvement to the student body. The ambassadors are responsible for promoting the online involvement tool, AUinvolve, as well as other involvement opportunities for students.

Involvement Recognition: Involvement Ambassadors host a red-carpet event to honor specific involvement achievements throughout the year. The event will highlights organizations and individuals for outstanding achievements throuhgout the academic year. Learn more here.
