What global challenge(s) are you most interested in and why?

I'm passionate about the education disparity domestically and internationally because I've seen how much a quality education (or lack thereof) can impact a child and his or her society. Education is directly related to economic growth, public health, and overall personal wellbeing, so I am interested in finding ways to spread an appreciation for and access to high quality education.

How can students at Auburn University contribute to the Leadership Challenge?

One of the main goals of the Challenge Fellows is to spread awareness about the relevance and importance of these global issues. By asking questions and getting involved in little events on campus, students can learn a lot about these issues and eventually learn what they as an individual are passionate about. Igniting that passion is the first step to action, so living with a willingness to learn and an open heart can lead to real change.
