Hello all! I hope that this little introduction finds
everyone very well today. I am here to make my first-ever webpage, whew!
It is for my Counseling Leadership in Student Development class. I hope
that it will be alright by all standards. Enjoy the Who, What, When, Where,
and Why of me.
I hope that each and every one one of you has
a very wonderful day!
My full name is Marion Todd Robertson.
I am 21 years old, yet feel like I should still be a little
My birthday is November 30th. (That is for any of you
who might have missed it the last time around because I would not want
you feeling bad because you missed my birthday again!)
I was born and raised in and around Jasper, Alabama. I
am from the small community of Thach which is the greatest little place
anywhere around. Thach Wildcats on the Westside!
I have a mother-Gween, dad-Lee, brother-Tony, and 2 sisters-Teresa
and Tina. My siblings are married so I have a sister-in-law-Teresa, 2 brother-in-laws-Charles
and Bill, and a niece Amber. I also have a cat-Black Cat, dog-Hootie, and
one of those roommate things-Andy.
I am a junior at Auburn University. This is my first year
here after transfering in from UAB-Walker College/Bevill State Community
College in Jasper.
WAR EAGLE! I have been a life-long Auburn fan and I love
it here on the Plains.
I am a business and finance major looking to become a
stockbroker after graduation.
I had a job all through high school and college until
this year. I sure do not know where I would be able to find the time for
one now though.
I enjoy the outdoors and playing all sorts of sports.
This year I have played and helped coach intramural teams for football,
basketball, volleyball, and softball (men's & co-rec leagues).
I enjoy anything that is good, clean fun though. Just
hanging out with friends is one of the best things that you can ever possibly
I am very involved with my campus ministries group Auburn
Christian Fellowship. I am currently in a discipleship class to help prepare
me for a leadership role next year.
I have attended or worked at Camp Utopia every summer
since I was 7 years old.
This summer, however, I will be working at Camp Jimmy
Goodwin. It is a Boy's & Girl's Club camp for troubled youth located
in Walker County.
I am really looking forward to working there this summer.
I hope that I can be a positive influence and role model for the kids and
also for their parents and my fellow workers.
The opportunity for me having this job was made possible
by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Leadership Clearinghouse Project
and the Student Success Center of Auburn University.
I would like to hear from you. Just give me a holler!
