Spring Family Weekend

Join the Auburn University Parents’ Association for Spring Family Weekend on A-Day, April 14, 2012.

Each year Auburn gives students, alumni, parents, and friends a sneak peek at the upcoming football season by holding a spring football game in Jordan-Hare Stadium. It is always Orange vs. Blue and the entire Auburn football team is divided in half to make up the two teams.

All of the players are given the chance to participate, which allows Auburn fans to see the depth and future of the team. Since football is such a huge part of Auburn, A-Day serves as a way to carry us over until the true football season begins again. Bring your shakers and wear your orange and blue, and enjoy a day on the Plains watching the Auburn Tigers play.

Spring Family Weekend Tailgate

The Auburn University Parents’ Association will host a Spring Family Weekend Tailgate on A-Day from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the green space next the Student Center. There will be a large tent with plenty of tables and chairs for parents and families to eat during the event.

Tickets to Spring Family Weekend must be bought in advance. Each ticket allows the user to try out one of the new meals provided by the new campus food trucks, Tex’s Tacos and Slider U.

Once you have used your ticket at one of the food trucks, you will return to the Spring Family Weekend tailgate to enjoy your meal. Under the tent you’ll be able to enjoy desserts and Auburn Parent giveaways as well.
