The Higher Education Partnership will host its Higher Education Day on February 29, 2000, at 10AM.  at the Alabama State House in Montgomery. Festivities include the traditional rally with speakers and university pep bands. Students will present "goodie bags" to Alabama legislators, and lunch will be provided. CLASS EXCUSES WILL BE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS ATTENDING. In addition, student participants will also be involved in the Business Council of Alabama's Pride in Production Day, with the opportunity to meet with leaders from the state's manufacturing communities. 	The Alabama State House is located on Union Street, across the street from the Capitol. Travelers from Auburn should take I-85  South to Montgomery and take Exit 1 (Union Street). The Alabama State House will be on the right.
