Tiger Fun Facts

The tigers’ skin is striped just like its fur

 

No two tigers have the same stripe pattern, just as no two people have the same finger prints 

    That is how scientists identify them in the wild

There are more tigers in Captivity in the United States of America than in the wild in any

6 Countries have tigers as their national animal:

Tigers are the only cats that enjoy resting and swimming in water, and all are good swimmers.

 

The Siberian Tiger is the largest cat species in the world.  It weighs up to 660 pounds and     

       reaches over 10 feet long
