T4T News:
Summer 2009:
The summer has been a busy time for tigers for tigers. We have started our educational outreach programs outside of the University. This summer we have provided programs for two different camps at the Montgomery Zoo and also at Kaleidoscope camp here in Auburn. All programs have gone extremely well and the kids seemed to have a good time as well. We are also in the process of expanding our educational programs and formalizing a volunteer program within. For pictures of the summer events see the events page.

During the women's basketball game Sunday March 1st AU-Tigers4Tigers auctioned off a quilt made in memory of Ms. Cindy Wall to raise money for our wild tiger conservation project. The quilt made by Dr.Cathy McVay, of AU the Biology department, using fabrics left by Ms. Cindy Wall to their quilting group. The quilt went for a fantastic bid of $313 from Timothy Johnson and Margaret Wood, which was later augmented to $500 by the
generosity of Dr. Ted E. McVay an Assistant Professor at AU in the department of foreign language and literature. To read more about the quilt click here.
