About the SCA
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dress in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events featuring tournaments, arts, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, Royal Courts, and more. There is something for everyone!
College of the Eagle
College of the Eagle is located in Auburn, AL near Auburn University. If you have an interest in the middle ages or the rennaisance, you are invited to come to one of our meetings and chat with our members about many of the enjoyable aspects of life in the SCA.
Our members are constantly going to events, small and large. The Kingdom of Meridies, which includes Alabama, holds events of every type nearly every weekend. Escape from the mundane real world for a weekend by stepping back into a time of honor and chivalry among warriors on the battlefield and the courtly manners of the good citizens of our Kingdom. You will never look at the mundane world the same way again.
