Auburn University PT/OT Club

 

About us: 

The PT/OT Club was created by students who wanted a way to gain more information about their career choice while making lasting connections with fellows students moving in the same direction.

Membership is open to any major with an interest in pursuing Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.

Dues are currently $10 per semester for returning members and $15 for new members. Attendence of meetings and payment of dues is required in order to remain an active membership.

 

 Meetings:

Currently, club meetings occur on monday nights at 7:00pm in Coliseum room 1081 unless otherwise specified. The meeting schedule for the 2009-2010 year is TBD.

Meetings may include:

  •  representatives from PT/OT schools
  • PT/OTs from the area
  • former club members currently enrolled in PT/OT school

Members are encouraged to offer suggestions as to what topics they would like to have covered during our meetings.

 

Events:

Events sponsored by the PT/OT Club may include:

  • mock interviews
  • field trips
  • fundraisers
  • charity events
  • school fairs for invited PT/OT school reprentatives
  • visits to PT/OT schools with other members
  • intramural sports
  • tailgating
  • other social events suggested by members
