OAC Officers

Hannah Fuqua
President
haf0002@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hey guys, I'm Hannah from Huntsville, AL, and I'm the current president of OAC. I'm a senior with a Marketing major and Sustainability minor. I wouldn't say I'm an expert at any outdoor activity, but I love everything from climbing, backpacking, kayaking, caving, hiking, whitewater rafting, and just anything outside really. I love nature, love to have fun, and love planning trips for all of you to enjoy!

Stephen Swindall
Vice-President
sas0029@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hi I'm Stephen and I'm currently a Senior in International Relations here at Auburn. As acting Vice-President and former Secretary of the Outdoor Adventure Club, I help plan trips and other club functions in coordination with the club president. I grew up in Daphne, AL and have always enjoyed being in the outdoors. As an Eagle Scout, Marine Corps Reservist, and active member of the OAC, I've participated in a wide variety of outdoor activities. I would say I'm most knowledgeable in camping, backpacking, and marksmanship. I really enjoy being in Auburn's Outdoor Adventure Club and hope you will too!

Kendal Terreson
Secretary
kmt0020@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hey y'all! I'm Kendal from Austin, Texas. I'm a sophomore Pre-Nursing major, and I am the current Secretary of the Outdoor Adventure Club! I keep up with all of the member information, send out club emails, and just help the other officers with whatever they need. I am a certified Scuba Diver and Keelboat Sailer, and I love deep sea fishing, white-water rafting, hiking, and just about anything outside. Let me know if you ever have any questions about us. War Eagle!

Derrick Stone
Treasurer & Webmaster
das0008@auburn.edu
Hi everyone! My name is Derrick, and I am the current treasurer of the OAC. I am from Maryville, TN, and I am a senior in mechanical engineering. I've lived right next to the Great Smokey Mountains nearly all my life, so enjoying and exploring the outdoors have always been a big part of who I am. My main fields of expertise are rock climbing, repelling, hiking, and camping. Feel free to stop & talk to me on campus if you have any questions about the club or just have an idea about a future trip we could do. Peace ya'll!
Remember: "Dream as if you'll live forever; Live as if you'll die today."

David Welter
Director of Public Relations & Marketing
drw0003@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hey! I'm David from Clemson, SC. I am currently the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Club. I'm a senior with a Communication major and Business and Psychology minors. As an Eagle Scout and returning member to the OAC, I've participated in all sorts of outdoor activities from sailing in the Bahamas to hiking through the desert in Joshua Tree National Park. I love it all! Mountain biking, snowboarding, white water kayaking, and camping are some of my favorites. The Outdoor Adventure Club is an awesome opportunity to meet great people and have a blast!

Jaime Voelkel
Senior Design Consultant
jlv0007@tigermail.auburn.edu
Hey y'all! I'm Jaime and my major is in Industrial Design with a minor in business. I grew up in Ottawa, IL and moved to Madison, AL in high school. I spent two years at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) on a softball scholarship and transferred to Auburn last fall. I'm somewhere between a sophomore and a junior. Obviously, I'm very much a active outdoorsy girl. My dad is big-time hunter and my mom is long-time horse rider, so I've been raised to love the outdoors. I've been rafting, skiing, skydiving, backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, water skiing, and tons of other stuff. I've ridden horses since I was two and played nearly every sport imaginable. I rather spend money on adventures than anything else, because those adventures are what make life worth remembering!!
