Welcome to the Auburn University Chapter of the NAACP.  I am honored to sit as President for the 2006-2007 school year, and great things are ahead to come.  For almost a century now, the NAACP has been working hard to insure the equality of all individuals.  For more than 70 years, the Youth & College Division has been educating the youth and preparing them to become future leaders.  Here at the Auburn University chapter we strive to bring awareness and advocacy to our community through our bi-weekly meetings, forums, rallies, and community service.  We have a lot of events planned for this year, including our monthly lyricist lounge, voter registration, profound speakers, movie nights, our infamous Unity Ball, and forums on health, color complexes, investing and many more!  I look forward to seeing old and new faces at our meetings this year.  Strength is in numbers, so join us in our efforts to build a better America for all.  I'm always around campus, so if you see me say hello and remember that our motto here at the AU Chapter of NAACP is..."Make history or make excuses..."  We want to make history, what about you?!
