Who are we?
The Auburn University Hillel and Jewish Student Organization brings together all kinds of people; graduate and undergraduate students, Auburn University faculty and staff, and members of Congregation Beth Shalom and the Auburn Community. As a member organization of the Auburn Center for Diversity and Race Relations (CDRR), AJSO also partners with other student organizations to host entertainment and social events

Students are welcome to become active members of Congregation Beth Shalom free of charge, and may attend Shabbat and High Holiday services, and participate in various festival and holiday events, including our annual community seder.

While the AJSO functions as predominantly a social group, it is intended to give students a means of meeting other students in the Auburn area and becoming part of the Auburn/Opelika Jewish community. This year, with your help, we will plan a variety of events that will make our organization stronger and more fun to be a part of.
