Our New House
After fifty-four years of great use, our Fraternity house located at 712 W Magnolia was vacated in May 2006. All proceeds from the sale were put into our new state of the art house that was completed in August 2007.
There were some setbacks including higher material costs because of Hurricane Katrina, meeting all local safety codes, and dealing with the University regarding fire safety and house placement on the lot. However, we perservered and are enjoying a new beginning with this new house.
Cunningham and Associates, Inc. is our architect and Russell Construction of Alabama was our general contractor.
The new chapter house is located on what is called "New Fraternity Row." It is a house that will raise the bar for all other fraternity houses on Auburn's campus as well as around the nation. 34 Brothers are able to live comfortably in the house which includes twenty-one single bedrooms, five double bedrooms, and three officer suites. Some of the amenities include a dining room with seating for eighty, an activity room including pool table, big screen TV, ping pong table, a study/computer room, an alumni room, sitting room, TV lounge, full laundry room, men's bathrooms and showers, women's bathrooms, a rear balcony, basketbal court, volleyball court, putting green, party barn pavilion, and a separate chapter room. Needless to say, this house will bring many new brothers, new members, and new achievements: it truly is "A New Beginning."
