Sigma Kappa Standards for Membership

Academic Standards
Sigma Kappa has a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0. Academic commttment is the priority of our individual members. We expect our members to be committed to their academic career in pursuing a college education.

Character and Involvement
Sigma Kappa members have high moral standards and are involved and committed to leadership development by participating in numerous collegiate organizations and community events. Members maintain lives of character and integrity and are loyal to the sorority.

Financial Responsibility
Members of Sigma Kappa sorority are expected to live on the sorority hall for one year during collegiate membership and are responsible for prompt payment of all dues and fees and other financial committments.

Recommendation
It is encouraged for potential new members to obtain a recommendation before recruitment week; however, it is the responsibility of the sorority to obtain an alumnae recommendation for each new member.
