Dr. Wayne Alderman holds his doctorate in Business from the University of Tennessee (1977) where he received an Ernst & Young Doctoral Dissertation grant. Dr. Alderman has served on the faculties of the University of Texas at Austin and Auburn University. He served as Dean and Wachovia Professor for the College of Business at Auburn University for eight years. Dr. Alderman is currently the Dean of Enrollment Services here at the university. He has overall responsibility for recruiting and admissions decisions for all undergraduate programs as well as responsibility for all university scholarship programs.
Dr. Norman H. Godwin, PhD, CPA, is an Associate Professor and Ernst & Young Faculty Fellow in the School of Accountancy. Since coming to Auburn in 1996, Dr. Godwin has taught financial and managerial accounting to undergraduate, graduate, and executive students. He has won numerous teaching awards, including the College’s highest annual teaching award, the Colonial Company Teaching Excellence Award. He has an active research program and has been awarded the College’s highest annual research award, the Outstanding Research Award.
