House Corporation Board Member Biographies

Lee H. SimsPresident – A native of Montgomery, Lee graduated from Auburn University in 1968 with a Bachelors degree in Architecture.  Lee is a Principal and the lead designer in the firm Barganier Davis Sims Architects Associated.  Their firm has handled both domestic and international projects.  Lee is a Registered Architect in the State of Alabama, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Past President of the AIA Gulf States Region Design Awards, Past President of the Montgomery Chapter to Alabama Council AIA, Past Associate Professor of Design, Architecture Department at Auburn University, Past Member, Auburn University, School of Architecture – Faculty Advisory Council.  Lee is also a member of the Capital Rotary Club and on the Board of Trustees at Saint James School.

**Robert A. “Randy” ReedVice President – A native of Mountain Brook, Randy graduated from Auburn University in 1988 with a B.S. in Finance and later earned his Masters in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College in 1992.  Randy is President & CEO of ABC Polymer Industries, LLC, an international plastics manufacturing and distribution company headquartered in Helena, AL.  He serves on the Board of Directors of Oakworth Capital Bank, Maingate MLP, ABC Polymer Industries, LLC, The Robert E. Reed Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Foundation, Mountain Brook Sports Corporation, past Board Member for RealtySouth Corporation and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF), Downtown Rotary Club and is highly involved with his kids in Mountain Brook Athletics.  Randy is a 2nd Generation Brother in the Bond as his Father, Robert E. Reed (64), was also a member of Phi Delta Theta.

Robert MillerTreasurer – A native of Mobile, Robert graduated from Auburn University in 1994 with a B.S. in Accounting.  He resides in Montgomery and is a Manager with the Southeastern Regional accounting firm Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC.  Robert specializes in tax work and is a member of the Montgomery Kiwanis Club.

**Trey Norris Secretary - A native of Montgomery, Trey graduated from Auburn University in 2000 with a B.S. in Management.  Trey is Vice President with Norris Building Company, Inc., a family owned General Contracting firm headquartered in Montgomery, AL, that specializes in renovation work and some new home construction in the Tri-county area of Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.  Trey is a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors Association.

**Kevin Cross Alumni Secretary - A native of Mobile,  Kevin graduated from Auburn in 1992 with a B.S. in Accounting.  While a Phi at Auburn, Kevin served in a variety of leadership roles, including Alumni Secretary in 1987 and President in 1991.  Kevin is Vice President of Midstream Fuel Service LLC, a regional petroleum supply company supporting the industrial, marine and offshore production/exploration industries.  Kevin currently serves as a member of the Chevron Global Lubricants marketers council.

 

Russell M. Cunningham, IV – A native of Mountain Brook, Russell graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Management and later earned his J.D. law degree from the University of Alabama and his L.L.M., Taxation from the New York University School of Law.  Prior to forming his own firm, Cunningham Firm, LLC, Russell practiced with the Birmingham law firm of Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP.  The Cunningham Firm advises clients from all over the southeastern United States providing legal counsel for businesses and individuals primarily in the areas of general business and corporate law.  Russell is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Chairman of the Tax Section’s Southeast Region IRS Liason Committee and a member of the American Bar Association.  He is a member of the Birmingham Venture Club and the Downtown Rotary Club and serves on the boards of the  Coastal Conservation Association and the Greater Alabama Council of Boy Scouts.

 

Robert T. Drew – A native of Mobile, Robert graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a B.S. in Finance.  He resides in Birmingham and is a Senior Vice President of McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc.  Robert is a member of the Young Presidents Organizations (YPO).

Geoffrey S. Golden  - A native of Mountain Brook, Geoff graduated from Auburn University in 1988 with a B.S. in Building Science.  He is President and CEO of Golden & Associates Construction LLC, a commercial general contractor headquartered in Birmingham, AL that serves the commercial, industrial, multi-family, education and medical markets throughout the Southeastern United States.  Geoff is on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Architectural Foundation, Chairman of the Founding Partners Board of Directors for the University of Alabama College of Construction Engineering, Vice Chairman of the Alabama Associated Builders and Contractors and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

**Mark R. Haas – A native of Mobile, Mark graduated from Auburn University in 1989 with a B.S. in Marketing and later earned his Masters in Business Administration from Spring Hill College in 1994.  Mark is President of Simmons Printing in Birmngham, AL.  A resident of Mountain Brook, AL, Mark is involved in coaching his girls in youth soccer.  Mark is a 2nd Generation Brother in the Bond as his Father, Bay Haas (63), was also a member of Phi Delta Theta.

Billy L. Harbert, Jr. -  A native of Birmingham, Billy graduated from Auburn University in 1988 with a B.S. in Building Science and is in the process of earning his Masters in Business Administration from Emory University.  He is President and CEO of B.L. Harbert International, LLC, a General Contractor headquartered in Birmingham, AL, that performs work domestically and internationally.  B.L. Harbert International, LLC is renowned for their government work having built U.S. embassies throughout the world along with numerous domestic projects.  Billy is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America, Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.  He is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Booth Malone – A native of Coral Gables, FL, Booth now resides in Columbus, GA.  He graduated from Auburn University in 1974 with a B.A. Degree in Visual Design.  Booth has been painting professionally and is one of the premiere equestrian artists in the country with his art in private and corporate collections on both sides of the Atlantic.  His paintings appear frequently on the covers of horse oriented publications and in 2006 he was the Official Artist of The Breeder’s Cup (Churchill Downs).  In 2007 he was the featured artist in the Centennial Show for the Masters of Fox Hound Association.  He is a Member and Instructor with the American Academy of Equine Art.  Other portraits include former White House Secretary Marlin Fitzwater and Olympic Gold Medalists Bruce Davidson and Karen O’Connor.  Booth served as the Chapter Adviser for the fraternity from 1984 until 1993 and was recognized by our National Fraternity as Chapter Adviser of the Year in 1991.

Malcolm “Buck” Marsh, Jr.  – A native of Florence and current resident of Auburn, AL, Buck graduated from Auburn University in 1949 with a B.S. in Building Technology.  Buck is Vice President of Business Development for White Construction Company, a diversified general contractor specializing in commercial office buildings, hospitals, churches, casinos and prisons with projects completed from California along the southern part of the USA to Virginia.  Buck is a World War II veteran and was recently named Honorary Command Sgt. Major-36th Armed Infantry Regiment.  Buck saw his first combat action at the Battle of the Bulge and he has documented numerous accounts during his time in combat, four of which have been published.  Buck is retired from Rotary and has served on the chapter’s House Corporation Board since 1973, including a serving as the Board’s President from 1975 – 1989.  He was recently named the chapter’s Alum of theYear in 2008 at the 2nd Annual Alumni Reunion Weekend in November 2008.

**John Montgomery, Jr. – A native of Mountain Brook, John graduated from Auburn University in 2000 with a B.S. in Management.   John is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Southland Tube, Inc, headquartered in Birmingham, AL and a manufacturer of ERW  Hollow Structural Sections (HSS), Mechanical Tubing and NPS Structural Pipe serving a nationwide customer base.  John is a member of the Steel Tube Institute of North America in Coral Gables, FL, a member of the Committee of Pipe and Tube Imports in Washington, D.C., a member of the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington D.C. and an Associate Member of the Metals Service Center Institute in Rolling Hills, IL.  He is a member of the Auburn Alumni Association and the Birmingham/Jefferson County Alumni Club.

David M. Mostellar – A native of Mobile, David graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a B.S. in Finance.  David is a sales representative with the family owned business of Gulf Coast Marine Supply, an industrial and marine supply house.  Gulf Coast Marine has operated since 1935, supplying parts and services to the Southeastern United States.  David is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors and is involved in little league athletics and with UMS-Wrights school.  David is a 2nd Generation Brother in the Bond as his Father, James Carl Mostellar (59), was also a member of Phi Delta Theta.

**Doug Ray – A native of Mobile, Doug graduated from Auburn University in 1995 with a degree in Business.  Doug is a Director with Bayer Healthcare managing business associated with Oncology Group Purchasing Organizations and Specialty Pharmacies.

**Scott B. Reed – A native of Mountain Brook, Scott graduated from Auburn University in 1990 with a B.S. in Finance and later earned his Masters in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College in 1994 and graduated with Honors from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Newark, DE, in 1997.  Scott is CEO of Oakworth Capital Bank, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, a commercial bank and wealth management firm.  Scott is an equity member and serves on the Board of Directors for ABC Polymer Industries, LLC, Oakworth Capital Bank and the Baptist Health Foundation.  He is a  Member of the President’s Advisory Council for Birmingham Southern College, Chairman of the Board for the Robert E. Reed Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Foundation and a Board Member for the Mountain Brook Sports Corporation.  He is a past Board Member for RealtySouth Corporation.  Scott is a 2nd Generation Brother in the Bond as his Father, Robert E. Michael C. Rogers – A native of Mobile, Mike graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a B.S. in Building Construction. Mike is founder and President of Rogers & Willard, Inc., a general contractor headquartered in Mobile specializing in commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Southeast. Mike currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Centre for the Living Arts(CLA) in Mobile.  He also serves on the board of UMS - Wright Preparatory School,  Dauphin Island Property Owners Association,  Alabama Architectural Foundation, and Young Presidents Organization Southern 7 Chapter.  He has served as president of Associated Builders and Contractors of South Alabama and Mobile Big Game Fishing Club.

 

**Kenneth R. Stephens – A native of Tampa, FL, Ken graduated from Auburn University in 1978 with a B.S. in Marketing.  Ken is a Partner with the Capstone Group, Inc., a real estate investment group specializing in the acquisition and development of retail commercial properties in Florida and throughout the Southeast.  Ken also provides advisory services to corporate real estate staffs of national and regional retail companies including Kohl’s, The Home Depot, BJ’s Wholesale Club and LA Fitness.  Prior to founding Capstone Group, Ken served as a corporate officer with The Home Depot overseeing all store development activities in the Western, Northwest, Southwest and Canadian divisions.  During his tenure with Home Depot, he was involved with the development of more than 475 Home Depot stores.  Ken serves on the Board of Directors of Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL and serves as a student mentor for the Hillsborough Education Foundation.  He is a member of the Sierra Club and the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. 

Wesley M. Taylor – A native of Mountain Brook, Wes graduated from Auburn University in 1981 with a B.S. in Building Construction.  Wes is President of Taylor & Miree Construction, Inc., a general contractor headquartered in Birmingham, AL that performs public and private work in north central Alabama.  Wes has been active in the Associated General Contractors of America and the Associated Builders & Contractors associations.  Wes’s son Cole is an active member in the fraternity and is on track to become a fourth generation family member to graduate from Auburn University.  The Taylor family settled in Auburn, AL around 1835 when the Creek Indians were forced to move and his Great-Great-Great Grandfather Jesse Taylor was one of the original settlers in Auburn with his niece, Elizabeth Taylor being credited with giving Auburn its’ name.

Jordan BickertChapter President – Jordan is a native of Mobile, AL and a graduate of St. Paul’s Episcopal High School.  A Mechanical Engineering major, Jordan was elected President of the chapter in December 2010.
