New Addition To Our Site
Our chapter is proud to announce the additon of our new blog that will keep us current on what our Alabama Beta alumni are doing. From CEO's to Superior Court Judges and active military personnel, Alabama Beta of Phi Delta Theta has been the begining for many promising careers... As our alumni continue to shine in their respected fields we will continue to spotlight them in our blogsite.
A group of brothers will also be rotating writing an article biweekly about what is going on at the Phi house..From pledge swaps and intramural sports to participation and awards on campus. We hope you enjoy what we are doing and we welcome any comments or suggestions.
For now, you will be able to comment on our stories without creating an account. In the future we will be allowing for guests to subscribe to our blog where brothers and alumni can post their own stories and successes.
Our blog is can be found now under the tab "Alumni," or by going here. AUBURNPHI
Welcome to the home of Phi Delta Theta’s Alabama Beta chapter. Phi Delta Theta at Auburn University has been around since 1879, making Phi Delta Theta the longest, continuous running fraternity here at Auburn. We take pride in our history and strive every day to uphold the values we learn upon entering the fraternity.
Whether you are here to find out more information about Phi Delta Theta, interested in rushing Phi Delta Theta, or just want to see what the chapter is doing please feel free to tour our website and check back as updates are made frequently.
Phi Delta Theta was organized with three principle objectives: The cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality.
These objectives, referred to as the "Cardinal Principles," have guided over 229,000 men since 1848 when the Fraternity was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Phi Delta Theta teaches men that these areas of commitment, outlined in The Bond of Phi Delta Theta, are not to be viewed as separate ideals, but as areas of discipline for daily life. Developments intellectually, in leadership, and human service (to name a few) are vital to the men of Phi Delta Theta. A member will support, and in turn have the support of, his brothers as these principles are lived out.
