Welcome to AKL

War Eagle and welcome to the home page of the Beta Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity. We have been an active chapter on Auburn’s campus since 1990 and we are Auburn’s Christian Fraternity; however, I would like to stress that we are not a youth group. We are a social fraternity and a member of the Inter-Fraternity Council or IFC. We do have parties as well as various other social events throughout the year and brothers who are of legal drinking age have the option of consuming alcohol in a responsible manner. Moreover, we enforce a strict Code of Conduct and our house and surrounding property are considered dry.

As I said before, we are a Brotherhood of Christian men who are dedicated to building the character of our brothers while encouraging personal and spiritual growth. Furthermore, we are continually seeking new men who are willing to live by the five ideals stated in our national creed: Judeo-Christian Principles, Leadership, Scholarship, Loyalty, and Self-Support.

If you are an incoming freshmen, transfer student, or currently enrolled student at Auburn University and are interested in learning more about our fraternity, please take the time to complete the Potential New Member information page located under the Recruitment tab; this information will go to a member of our Recruitment Committee so that we can inform you of upcoming recruitment opportunities. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding our Chapter, the Greek Community, or Auburn in general please don’t hesitate to contact me at griffjc@auburn.edu or 205.515.2167.

Thank you and God Bless,

John Griffin, President
