- This semeseter we're planning a Green Living Workshop, and possibly a Recycled Art Workshop.
- We're going on a rafting trip to the Ocoee River in Tennessee for the first weekend of Spring Break (12 - 14 March).
- Earthfest is still in the planning phase. However, we've set a date of 10 April. The planning committee meets 30 minutes before each club meeting. It isn't too late to join the planning committee or at least submit your ideas.
- Alabama Water Watch has asked us to train as many EAOers as we can. This way we can monitor local bodies of water for pollutants. The training date will be 13 February from 8AM-12PM.
- Clay McInnis, an Auburn alum, went to Antarctica during the recent Christmas break with James McClintock, a Polar and Marine Biologist from UAB. McClintock is an expert on the effects of climate change on Antarctica (he spoke during the National Teach-In last year). They are going to come speak to the EAO about their experience and climate change on 4 February.
