The AU Recycling Program was established in 2005 by the Auburn University Facilities Division and Sustainability Initiative.
Our mission is to encourage and expand recycling, waste diversion and reuse programs and promote efforts to decrease the amount of waste produced on campus in order to reduce the amount of waste in our local landfill.

To meet this goal, recycling programs have been initiated in university buildings, athletic events and residential housing on campus.
