Diversity and Tolerance Organization (DTO) is a student organization in Auburn University, Alabama. DTO aims primarily at bringing students of different cultures, races and backgrounds together through mutual understanding and continuous dialogue on gender, race, ethnicity, culture and faith.  DTO organizes 1st Annual Essay Contest that explores the important issues surrounding intercultural dialogue and diversity.
This essay contest was among the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in Lee, Macon and Montgomery Counties. A total of 228 essays were submitted and winner of the 1st place and received the $300 cash award. Click here for the essays and photos from the award ceremony! |
