Dean RIF is a program that donates books to at-risk 0 to 5 year olds in
Head Starts, Even Starts,
and state-sponsored day cares
across Alabama. Circle K'ers can volunteer in many different ways
including helping label books and gathering and packing orders to be
shipped out. You can volunteer
for two hours on Mondays, but
there are also other opportunities. Click
here to see a complete list
of dates. The Jean Dean
RIF warehouse is located at:
1105

minutes before 4.

Head: Bailey Taylor Members
visit the dogs and cats at the Lee County Humane Society to give them
exercise, an
occasional bath, lots of love, and help in
finding a home. This is a great project because you can go on
your own time as well as with the club. Just sign in the volunteer book
under Circle K. Monarch Estates
Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 (Meet at Monarch Estates a few minutes before 4.
Please
email Amanda for directions.)
Project Head: Amanda Harris
The Monarch Estates project
involves visiting with senior residents of the Monarch Estates
retirement
home. The atmosphere is relaxed, and Circle K
members enjoy the experience as much as the seniors.
Residents appreciate having someone to chat with. Come enjoy some
coffee, dessert, and great
conversation.
