fundraisers and all the proceeds go towards help the children of Lee County.
Opelika Fall Festival àTuesday September 22nd
4:45-8pm. The annual Fall Festival
will be held at Moore Stadium in Opelika.
Our stand will be a Tennis Ball Throw which we will be manning for the
Greater Montgomery Kiwanis. So come out
for some fun and see all the children have an awesome time!
Capital Fall
Rally à Saturday October 3rd, $12,
1-5pm. We are very excited that this
year’s Fall Rally will be held in Auburn at the AU Challenge Course. That means no travel for us! Members from the Troy, AUM, SUSCC, and
Troy-Dothan clubs will be joining us for a fun gathering at the challenge
course which includes high and low ropes, as well as team building
exercises. This will be a great time to
not only get to know the members of our club, but also
many new people from the other clubs.
Run to Read à Saturday October 3rd, $10 donation
which benefits RIF, 7-10am. RIF holds
the annual Run to Read one mile walk or 5K race on the same day as our Fall
Rally this year, but that should not matter because you can never get enough
Circle K service! Registration begins at
7am and the one mile race is at 8am, while the 5K run is at 8:30 am. There will be door prizes and the registration
fee includes a T-shirt! For more information and registration from, visit http://jeandeanrif.org/.
Alabama Leadership Academy à Friday-Sunday November 13th-15th,
$80. ALA, which was known in the past as
Membership Education Rally, will be in Wetumpka, AL this year, which, again, is
not a very far drive for us from Auburn.
The AL District of Circle K is paying $12 of each person’s fee, so this
is really an awesome deal! Everyone should attend! The entire week of Leadership
Academy that is held every year by CKI in a different city each year is being
condensed into one fun-filled, packed weekend!
This will be a great opportunity to meet other Circle-Kers from around the state and just have fun. For more
information, take a look at the brochure at the next meeting. See you there!

Tri-K Day à August 29th. Tri-K Day is an all day event where Kiwanis,
Circle K, and Key Club-ers from all around the state
come to help out at the RIF Warehouse.
This year, there were over 250 people at the warehouse throughout the
day and we labeled over 31,000 books for needy children. There was also an auction which added $500 to
the campaign, and a home-cooked lunch by the ladies at the Pepperell Methodist
Church.
