The dates of our 2010-2011 tryouts and the requirements will be confirmed by mid-January, 2010. Please check back at that time for additional information. Tryouts are open to currently enrolled Auburn University students only. Instructional clinics are held prior to tryouts each year and are open to Auburn students only. While tryout information and the requirements do change from year to year, the information below will give you an idea of what was required of this year's squad. AUBURN WILL SELECT ONE CO-ED SQUAD FOR 2009-2010.
• Must have been enrolled as a full time Auburn student during Fall Semester, 2008 classes.
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time Auburn student in Spring Semester, 2009 classes.
• NO FIRST SEMESTER AUBURN STUDENT MAY TRY OUT.
• NO CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL OR TRANSFER STUDENT MAY TRY OUT.
• Must have an overall 2.0 Grade Point Average or at least a 2.5 Grade Point Average for Fall Semester, 2009.

The 2009-2010 Auburn Cheerleading squad will be made up of 10 females, 10 males, and one mic-man.

The Auburn Cheerleaders cheer at:
• All Football games (home and away)
• Men’s Basketball (including the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament games)
• Women’s Basketball (including the SEC Tournament & NCAA Tournament games)
• Home Gymnastics Meets
• Home Volleyball games The Cheerleaders also assist the Auburn Athletics Sports Marketing Department with Auburn Soccer and Auburn Swimming and Diving and make numerous appearances in and around the Auburn Community.

CANCELED - Tuesday, March 10- 8:45-10:15 p.m.

Wednesday, March 25- 8:15 – 10:15 p.m.

Thursday, April 2- 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Monday, April 6- 7:45- 10:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 7- 7:30- 9:30 p.m.

Clinic Dates are subject to change if the Auburn Men’s or Women’s Basketball teams get invited to play in either The NCAA or NIT Basketball Tournaments.

Requirements for Females:
Back Handspring, Toss Shoulders, Toss Extension, Liberty, Cupie, Torch, Toe Touch, Tiger Rags, Bodda Getta, Track 'Em, and an Entrance which may include tumbling.
