Dear Prospective Member: Cardinal Key is a national honor society that recognizes college juniors for excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership and service. Cardinal Key members represent the top scholars and leaders on Auburn’s campus. Cardinal Key requires applicants to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and have between 31 and 60 semester hours. Selection into this group is a great honor, but it comes with an obligation as well. The group cannot function without participation of its members. If you are selected for membership in Cardinal Key, please be aware that your attendance will be mandatory at an initiation ceremony for which the date is yet to be determined. Dues of $80 will be due at this time. Because of your GPA and credit hours, you have been identified as a prospective nominee for Cardinal Key. If you desire to be considered as a potential member of Cardinal Key, please take a moment to fill out the attached application or pick up a copy from the SGA Suite in the Student Center. Completed applications with Dean verification should be turned in the SGA office no later than Friday, March 13th at noon. We look forward to receiving and reviewing your application. Members for the 2009-2010 year will be announced at Honors Callouts on Thursday, April 9. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our membership chair, Codi Runge, at rungecs@auburn.edu. Thanks and War Eagle! Sincerely, The 2008-2009 Members of Cardinal Key
