WHAT IS THE SCBFS...
WELCOME… to the 2010 Southern Collegiate Bass Fishing Series Hosted by Auburn University
Bass Sports Club. Our goal is to provide a Tournament Trail in the Southeast based on traditional
Collegiate Team Competition.
Our format is unique offering both an “Invitational, Two Man Team” competition and a “Team”
competition at each event.
At the end of the three tournament series, each University will have a
win/loss record based on two matches at each event. The school with the highest weight will be
crowned “Match Champions.”
In the Invitational format each event will have a winning two man
team that will compete for points for the “Invitational Champions."
Our Championship Tournament is the fourth tournament. To qualify to compete in the
Championship, each school must compete in two of the three earlier series tournaments. The
format in the Championship is a "Team" format only. Cumulative weight over two days of
competition with the best 3 out of 4 boat weights for each school being calculated.
In 2010, the
Championship will be on Lake Wheeler and the host City will be Decatur,
Alabama
on April 1st-3rd, 2010. Versus Sports Network once again will be
filming this event.
