Southern Collegiate Bass Fishing SeriesTM Tournament Format
2009 Tournament Trail
SEQUENCE OF THE EVENTS (SERIES) Each tournament in the series will consist of two events;
1) There will be a “head to
head” match between individual schools both days of each event for a total of six (6) matches over the three Series events.
Head to Head Matches

Head to Head
Matches: Cumulative weight of each schools team will be weighed to determine
the winner in each head to head match. Each

Two boat teams
vs. Three boat teams: The three boat team will utilize the weight of their
top two boats in this match up. Please note that if

Three boat
teams vs. Three boat teams: Provided both teams agree Invitational

Each school
will also compete in the invitational, which will use the

an invitational winner, receiving plaques for first through

Weights will
be converted to points based on 100 points for first. The cumulative points
by each school in each event will determine the · The overall winner of the three event series will be the Match Series Champion with a trophy given at the championship event.
CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT / “Southern Series Trophy”
To be eligible for the
championship, a school must have · The final championship will be a two tournament consisting of each team competing against all other teams in a cumulative weight format. Only three boats, utilizing the top two boats weight from each school will be allowed. Please note that the number of boats may increase. · The top team based on the two day total weight will be CHAMPION.
