Indian
River State College (IRSC) team won the
National Guard FLW College Fishing Southeast
Division event on Lake Okeechobee Saturday,
January 21, 2012 with five bass weighing 15
pounds, 7 ounces. Auburn University
team of Jordan Lee, Vinemont, Ala., and
Shane Powell, Midland City, Ala. placed 2nd
with 12 pounds 15 ounces. Rounding
out the remaining top five places were: 3rd
Place - University of Central Florida with
12 pounds 0 ounces; 4th Place - Seminole
State College with 11 pounds 15 ounces; and
5th Place - North Carolina State University
with 11 pound 8 ounces.

National Championships, FLW College Fishing created an unbiased ranking
system for college-fishing schools.
