Alumni Band
Every year, the Alumni Band meets to bring together the greater Auburn Band family, and entertain Auburn fans with a rousing halftime performance.
Our 26th Annual Alumni Band Reunion will be held on November 3rd, 2012 at the New Mexico State game.
*The deadline to order lunch and football tickets is Monday October 29th. Both of these should be ordered online at Teloga.com Participants in the Alumni Band do not need football tickets for themselves, but they can be purchased for family or friends that would also like to attend the game.*
Message from the Alumi Band Association President:
William McKinley was President, Typhoon II wins the Kentucky Derby, the first electric taxi is driven in London and M. Thomas Fullan proposed to Alabama Polytechnic Institute president Dr. William Broun that the drum corps accompanying cadet drills be replaced with a full instrument band. The football team was undefeated that year compiling a record of 2-0-1. The year was 1897.
Every fall since then the sounds of the Auburn University Marching Band can be heard across the rolling plains of Lee County and the south. The AUMB tradition is born 115 years ago and the legacy of excellence continues. Each year fans, faculty and alums return to Auburn to make new memories and the renew old friendships. The sounds echoing across the campus are the unmistakable sounds of our marching band.
For those of us who have been a part of the signature sound of the marching band we find it almost impossible to describe the feeling. When 380 students take the field again this fall they will bring more than 87,000 people to their feet. As president of the Auburn University Marching Band Alumni Association I would like to thank each of you for all the hard work, dedication and passion you have brought to our band. I would ask you to continue that dedication by joining us this fall for the 26th Alumni Band Reunion on November 3, 2012. Be sure to visit the website for details, sign up and make your plans to join us. We will have some exciting news about the fund raising efforts for the new band building and opportunities for you to be a part of the continuing legacy that is 115 years strong.

Registration for the 2012 AU Alumni Band is now open!
Please read through, and complete the steps below to register. If you have any problems with your registration, please send an email to band@auburn.edu
- Please complete the following steps to sign up for this year’s Alumni Band Reunion. (If you are attending with your spouse, each of you needs to do the following separately.)
- Visit http://teloga.com/networks/aubands/alumni-band/fall-2012/ to see the Alumni Band Reunion Event page on Teloga.com
- If you registered on Teloga.com at last year’s reunion (or at any other time), log in with your existing email and password combination in the upper right corner of the screen.
- If you do not already have an account, you can register using the form on the right sidebar.
- Once logged in, scroll down to the box that says “Connect with Alumni Band Reunion – 26th Annual | Fall 2012″.
- Select your Connection Type as “Attending” if you plan to attend the reunion, or “Just Paying Dues” if you only wish to pay your Alumni dues and update your information.
- If you are Attending, select your Section (Instrument/Danceline/Flagline/Majorette).
- Pay your Alumni Band Dues:
- If you are Attending by yourself, click the green button which says $15 for Alumni Band Dues (Single). You will be sent off-site to complete your payment.
- If you are Attending with your spouse, *only one of you* needs to click the green button which says $25 for Alumni Band Dues (Couple). You will be sent off-site to complete your payment.
- Return to the Alumni Band Reunion Event page at http://teloga.com/networks/aubands/alumni-band/fall-2012/
- Complete your Profile at the bottom of the page, filling in or updating your name, address, phone number, and so on. Click “Update Profile” to save this information.
