Senators
The Auburn University Student Senate is the legislative branch of the Student Government Association and is responsible for drafting and voting on legislation that affects the student life at Auburn University. All proposed legislation will be posted on our website prior to the meeting in which it is presented. The SGA Vice President presides over the 29 senators representing each school/college and the 5 at-large senators. You are encouraged to email your senators with questions or opinions about proposed legislation as well as to present ideas and concerns that you would like to be addressed by the Senate. The Senate meets on Monday nights at 7 p.m. in AU Student Center Rm. 2222. Students are encouraged to attend these meetings, which are open to the public.
