Kirby L. Turnage, IV

Kirby is a senior from Pensacola, FL majoring in Finance. He has been involved in Student Government since his freshmen year as member of Freshman Forum. Kirby has also served as the Director of the High School Leadership Conference, a Senator At-Large, the SGA Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Services, and a member of various University Boards and Committees. He is an active member of his social fraternity and enjoy scuba-diving, theoutdoors, and Auburn football. Kirby is honored to work for the betterment of Auburn as he serves and promotes the student body as your 2011-2012 SGA President.

Vanessa Tarpos

Vanessa Tarpos is a junior double majoring in English and Political Science from Hamilton, Ontario. She has been involved in the Student Government Association since her freshman year as a member of Tiger Tuesdays’ Freshman Forum. She continued to serve in the SGA as Assistant Director of Freshman Forum, Assistant Director of the High School Leadership Conference, Senator At-Large and Student Interests Chair. She is a member of her social sorority and various honor societies. She is honored to serve as your 2011-2012 SGA Vice President.

Curry Stevenson

Curry Stevenson is a senior majoring in Civil Engineering from Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Curry has been involved in SGA as a member of Tiger Tuesdays, through various Cabinet positions including Executive Secretary, and as the Parliamentarian of the Senate. She is an active member of her social sorority, various honor societies including Omicron Delta Kappa, and has served as the Assistant Treasurer of Panhellenic. Curry is humbled to serve Auburn as the 2011-2012 Student Government Association

Abby Basinger

Abby Basinger is a senior from Birmingham, Ala. majoring in Public Relations. She has served Auburn University in various roles including Tiger Tuesdays, SGA Assistant Director of Publicity, Panhellenic Spiritual Life Chairman and Secretary of University Outreach. Abby is currently a member of her social sorority and various other organizations including Omicron Delta Kappa and Cardinal Key. She is excited to serve as the 2011-2012 Student Government Association Chief of Staff and feels extremely blessed to have been given this opportunity.

Chris Osterlund

Chris Osterlund is a senior from Huntsville, Alabama, majoring in Industrial & Systems Engineering. He has been involved with Student Government Association since his sophomore year by serving on Lobby Board and as the Director of Better Relations Day. Chris is also the vice president of his social fraternity and is a member of several other campus organizations including National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Chris is honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association, and looks forward to seeking out and implementing new and innovative initiatives that benefit the students of Auburn University.
