Volunteers
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the Student Government Association. The SGA is responsible for many projects throughout the year. Throughout the year volunteers will help with Hey Day, Beat Bama Food Drive, Fall 5K, Aubie Committee, Student Concerns, Blood and Bone Marrow Drives, Environmental Awareness and gameday recycling, Tiger Habitat, Better Relations Day, and the Kansas State, Tennessee Tech - Homecoming, and Alabama Pep-Rallies. At Christmas time volunteers help with the Holiday Celebration and Lighting of the Christmas Tree. This spring offers opportunities to volunteer with the High School Leadership Conference, Miss Auburn University Pageant, the Big Event, Spirit, Blood and Bone Marrow Drives, Environmental Awareness, Verizon Wireless Brand Ambassador Program, Tiger Habitat, and more. There is sure to be something for everyone! Without the help of dedicated volunteers, these projects could not be successfully accomplished.
Volunteering with the SGA is a great way to get involved on campus and show your love for Auburn. The fall Volunteer Drive takes place in the first few weeks of the fall semester. The SGA Volunteer commitment lasts one year; however, if you do not sign up in the fall and would still like to sign up to volunteer, there will an opportunity to in January. You may either fill out a form in the SGA office or send an e-mail to Caitlin Moulton (Director of Volunteers) at sga Volunteers@auburn.edu or Kevin Randolph (Assistant Director of Volunteers) at kdr0001@auburn.edu any time in the month of JANUARY 2009. In the e-mail be sure to include: your name, e-mail address, phone number and list the project/event that you would like to volunteer with (project/events are listed in the paragraph above). Remember, you can sign up for as many or as few activities as you would like, or you may request to be notified for all opportunities. Again, thank you for your interest in volunteering! War Eagle!
