Emerging Leader Institute (ELI)
ELI provides freshmen students with the tools necessary to get "plugged in" at Auburn University. Throughout the year, members will participate in several self-assessment evaluations, which pinpoint the students' personality type, leadership style and other areas of interest, and will hear speakers from various Auburn student programs that will advise and explain requirements for involvement in each organization. Members will also plan and execute a Fall and Spring project utilizing the experiences and skills gained from the program. By year's end each member will have emerged as a new Auburn University leader!
Exploring Leadership for Freshmen (ELF)
ELF gives students the opportunity to explore how to individually grow as a leader and learn how to make an affective difference in any involvement role. Through exciting and interactive weekly discussion, small group teams, socials, retreat, and other unique activities, students will enhance their leadership abilities that will affect their lifestyle and the lives of others. Explore leadership and explore new friends in ELF!
Freshman Forum (FF)
This program serves as the freshman representation to the Student Government Association (SGA). Participation in Freshman Forum allows for opportunities to take part in seminars, speakers, group projects and individual projects. Freshman Forum works to promote the interests of the freshman class while developing personal leadership skills and learning about the structure of the SGA.
Politics and Leadership (PAL)
PAL is a freshman leadership program focused on educating students about government and politics. Participants will explore politics and leadership through guest speakers and visits to the Alabama Legislature. PAL will work closely with the SGA Lobby Board in the planning and implementation of events throughout the year, including Higher Education Day in Montgomery.
REACH Community Connection (REACH)
REACH is a community service based leadership program. The goal of REACH is to provide students with leadership skills while serving the community through various service projects.
