Ask Dr. Lil Bear is an on-line mental health information service sponsored by Auburn University's Student Counseling Services. You are welcome to submit questions, and read previous questions and answers that others have submitted.
Found starving and furless on the dirt roads of rural Tennessee, Dr. Lil Bear is a chow chow with a special appreciation for life and the struggles that others face. A magna cum laude graduate from the School of Hard Knocks, Dr. Lil Bear is assisted by the SCS senior clinical staff when answering questions. Dr. Lil Bear is always on the couch and ready to listen.
Dr. Lil Bear omits information that might identify you in your questions. Those who submit questions cannot be tracked electronically, so Dr. Lil Bear is not able to send individuals personal responses.
If you are in emotional or psychological crisis, do not rely on Dr. Lil Bear for help. During regular work hours, Monday-Friday, 7:45 am-5 pm, call Student Counseling Services directly at 844.5123, or come to our offices on the second floor of the Auburn University Medical Clinic, 400 Lem Morrison Dr., Suite 2086.
