Amount: $1,500 for one year
Board of Trustees Scholarships are awarded among eligible Alabama residents who complete the scholarship application through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM). Incoming students must complete the scholarship application through AUSOM by February 10. Current Auburn students must complete the scholarship application through AUSOM by March 1.
- Students must have a minimum 3.0 high school, transfer, or cumulative AU GPA, depending on current enrollment status.
- Students must demonstrate financial need by March 1 through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)*, with preference given to students who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant.
- Students must be an undergraduate student pursuing a first degree.
*The FAFSA is the only form a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV, HEA programs except for information needed to ensure the student’s eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility provisions of the HEA and the regulations).
