Alumni Scholarships
The Auburn Alumni Association, along with close to 100 Auburn Clubs throughout the country, annually funds scholarships for incoming
and current students based on criteria such as academic achievement, geographic location, and financial need. Eligible students are
automatically considered for all Alumni Scholarships for which they meet the criteria.

Auburn Spirit Foundation Legacy Scholarship
Awarded: Mid-January
Amount: $6,000 over four years ($1,500 per year)
Auburn Spirit Foundation Legacy Scholarships are awarded competitively among incoming freshmen who meet the
December 1 Freshman Scholarship priority deadline.
- Students must have a minimum 26 ACT or 1170 SAT score and a 3.5 high school GPA.
- Students should indicate on the application for admission if they have a parent or guardian who is an alumnus of Auburn University (main campus).
- Students who have already been recognized with a scholarship of equal or greater value are ineligible for consideration.

Students selected as recipients must have at least one parent who is a member of the Auburn Alumni Association each year the student receives the
scholarship, if s/he is not already a life member.

Auburn Spirit Foundation Legacy Scholarships are awarded competitively based on available funding, and consideration does not guarantee
a scholarship will be awarded.

Auburn Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship
Awarded: Mid-January
Amount: $1,500 for one year
Auburn Alumni Association Endowed Scholarships are awarded among eligible incoming freshmen and transfer students. Incoming freshmen must meet the
December 1 Freshman Scholarship priority deadline, and transfer students must meet the
February 1 application for admission deadline.
- Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Incoming freshmen must have a 24-29 ACT or 1090-1320 SAT score to receive consideration.
- Students should indicate on the application for admission if they have a parent or guardian who is an alumnus of Auburn University (main campus).

Golden Eagles Annual Scholarship
Awarded: Early April
Amount: $1,500 for one year
Golden Eagles Annual Scholarships are awarded among eligible incoming freshmen, transfer students, and current students. Incoming freshmen must meet
the December 1 Freshman Scholarship priority deadline, and transfer students must meet the
February 1 application for admission deadline.

Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Incoming freshmen must have a 24-29 ACT or 1090-1320 SAT score to receive consideration. Transfer students must
meet the February 1 application for admission deadline and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA. Current students must achieve a 3.0 cumulative,
unadjusted Auburn GPA at the end of each fall semester.
- Students should indicate on the application for admission if they have a parent or guardian who is an alumnus of Auburn University (main campus).

Students must demonstrate financial need through completing the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid by March 1.

Students who have already been recognized with a scholarship of equal or greater value and students pursuing a second degree or a first
professional degree are ineligible for consideration.

Students selected as recipients must have at least one parent who is a member of the Auburn Alumni Association each year the student receives the
scholarship, if s/he is not already a life member.

Student Alumni Association Annual Scholarship
Awarded: Early April
Amount: $1,000 for one year
Student Alumni Association Annual Scholarships are awarded among eligible participants in the Student Alumni Association.
The Student Alumni Association provides a list of eligible members to the Office of University Scholarships.
- Students must be currently enrolled and rising seniors.
- Students must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative, unadjusted Auburn GPA.

Students must demonstrate financial need through completing the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid by March 1.
- Priority consideration is given to students who have not previously been recognized with a scholarship valued at resident tuition or greater.

Students selected as recipients must have at least one parent who is a member of the Auburn Alumni Association each year the student receives the
scholarship, if s/he is not already a life member.

Student Alumni Association Scholarships are awarded competitively based on available funding, and consideration does not guarantee a
scholarship will be awarded.

Auburn Club Scholarships
With close to 100 Auburn Clubs throughout the country, alumni have the opportunity to participate in various fund-raising activities either
directly for their local club scholarship or towards the association’s endowed scholarship.
