Transfer Scholarships
The Office of University Scholarships awards a limited number of one-year, non-renewable Transfer Scholarships at three levels in June to incoming transfer students pursuing a first undergraduate degree. To receive consideration at any level, students must have completed 30 transfer hours and have achieved a minimum 3.25 transfer GPA by the June 1 Transfer Scholarship priority deadline. Students who achieve the minimum transfer GPA required for consideration at each level are not guaranteed a scholarship at that level.
Financial need as demonstrated through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may also be a consideration. Although not required, the majority of recipients selected demonstrate financial need. Students who enroll at Auburn for the spring or summer term prior to the June 1 Transfer Scholarship priority deadline will be considered for Transfer Scholarships with the students who plan to enroll for the fall term following the deadline.
