General Scholarships Criteria
Criteria for General Scholarships include but are not limited to geography, class standing, academics, financial need, and/or affiliation with a particular organization. General Scholarships are awarded for one year with award amounts varying from $500 to tuition (2/3 tuition for non-residents). Approximately 50% of General Scholarships give preference to incoming freshmen, and approximately 50% of them give preference to students who demonstrate financial need.

Columbus/Phenix City Auburn Club Annual Scholarship
Preference given to incoming students who have a parent or guardian who is an Auburn alumnus; are residents and graduates of a high school in the Columbus/Phenix City area, as defined by the Columbus/Phenix City Auburn club; and demonstrate financial need.
Crenshaw County Auburn Club Annual Scholarship
Must be an incoming freshman, be a graduate of a Crenshaw County high school, demonstrate academic excellence, and demonstrate financial need.
Cullman County Auburn Club/Herman T. Pruett Memorial Annual Scholarship

Must be a graduate of a Jefferson County high school, demonstrate musical ability as determined through an audition before the Director of Bands, demonstrate academic excellence, and demonstrate financial need.

Guntersville/Marshall County Auburn Club Endowed Scholarship
Preference given to incoming freshmen who are residents of Marshall County, are graduates of Guntersville High School, have lettered in a high school sport at the varsity level, and demonstrate financial need.
Henry County Auburn Club Annual Scholarship
Must demonstrate academic excellence with preference given first to graduates of Headland High School or Abbeville High School and then to graduates of all Henry County high schools.
Jackson County Auburn Club Annual Scholarship
Must be an incoming freshman, be a resident and a graduate of a Jackson County high school, and demonstrate academic excellence.
Lee County Auburn Club Endowed Scholarship
Must be a graduate of a Lee County high school. A maximum of one student per high school is awarded.
Limestone County Auburn Club Endowed Scholarship
Must be a graduate of an Athens city or Limestone County high school and demonstrate academic excellence.
Marshall County Auburn Club Annual Scholarship
Preference given to incoming students who are residents and graduates of a Marshall County high school and demonstrate financial need. A maximum of one student per high school is awarded.

Preference given to dependents of Auburn University graduates who were killed while serving in the line of duty, then to dependents of federal service members who were killed while serving in the line of duty, and then to dependents of Auburn University graduates who have honorably served on active federal service. Requires a copy of the front and back of the student’s Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card and a DD Form 1300 (Report of Casualty).

Must demonstrate academic achievement, demonstrate leadership qualities, and be an active member of the Boy Scouts of America with at least one year tenure at the time of enrollment at Auburn University. Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need. Requires a resume of Eagle Scout activities.
