Incoming Freshmen
- Apply for admission with all admission materials postmarked by the December 1 Freshman Scholarship priority deadline to receive automatic consideration for Freshman and General Scholarships. Admission materials should be sent to Admissions Processing, 108 Mary Martin Hall, Auburn University, AL 36849, and include:
- Application for admission
- $40 application fee
- Official ACT and/or SAT scores (including writing scores) – The highest composite ACT score or total SAT score from a single test date is used in determining eligibility for admission and scholarships. Subject scores from different test dates are not combined. Students planning to enroll summer or fall 2009 will be the first class required to submit writing scores. Writing scores will be considered in the enrollment process after a student is accepted for admission for institutional assessment and placement.
- Official high school transcript – High school GPAs are not automatically recalculated. Instead, the GPA indicated on the high school transcript is used in determining eligibility for admission and scholarships, provided the GPA is on a 4.0 scale. If the GPA is not provided on a 4.0 scale, Admissions Processing manually calculates an unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
