Each of Auburn University's 12 colleges and schools awards scholarships separate from the scholarships awarded at the university level. In addition, various departments within each college or school may award scholarships. Students should contact the college/school and department in which they plan to major for Departmental Scholarship opportunities.
Criteria for Departmental Scholarships vary and may include but not be limited to academic major, geographic location, academic achievement, and financial need. To receive maximum consideration for need-based Departmental Scholarships, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online beginning January 1. The FAFSA must be received by Auburn University by the financial aid priority deadline of March 1.
Additional information regarding Departmental Scholarships may be found on the websites for the respective academic departments.
