Board of Trustees Scholarships

To receive consideration for a Board of Trustees Scholarship, a student must:

Be an Alabama resident;
Be an undergraduate student pursuing a first degree;
Demonstrate financial need by March 1 through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) ; and
Have a minimum 3.0 high school, transfer, or cumulative AU GPA, depending on current enrollment status.

For incoming freshmen, there is not a minimum test score required for consideration of this scholarship. The Office of University Scholarships begins awarding Board of Trustees Scholarships in April at $1,000 for one year. The number of scholarships awarded depends on the number of eligible students and/or available funding.
