Fellowship Groups

God has created us to be in community with one another but true community is hard to find because we make each other mad and live in a world where every few years it seems like we have to start over. Jesus, though, is making all things new and this includes our relationships with one another. As people trust and follow Him, they come together as a new community, the church, to experience Jesus’ power to overcome everything that would separate us. Others, who do not yet believe in Jesus or are not sure if they do, come to see what this life together is like. We come together all the time–at Large Group, for lunch, to study, to go out, etc. What we have found is that we need some time where we come together to pay attention to one another, to pray for one another, to talk together about trying to trust and follow Christ. This time takes the name ‘Fellowship Groups’. We meet for an hour and a half or so on different nights of the week. Feel free to call up or email any of the leaders and go at any point this semester. We will sign up for fellowship groups at the first few large groups or you can contact a leader directly.
